SOUTHERN POINT MEDICAL OFFICE BUILDING
Miles•McClellan Construction has been awarded the tenant fit-out work for 21,000 square feet of medical office space in the Southern Point Medical Office building located at 9085 Southern Street, Orient, in northern Pickaway County. Miles•McClellan also constructed the two-story 33,000-square-foot building shell.
The building provides suites for Berger Health System’s affiliated medical staff near the fast growing residential areas in northern Pickaway County and southern Franklin County. The completed facility will provide space for diagnostic and imaging labs, physical rehabilitation, and individual time share units for physician-owned private practices in family practice, obstetrics/gynecology, and pulmonary care.
Miles•McClellan will complete the $5.5 million project in October 2007. Trinity Health Group served as project architect. Healthplex Solutions is the project developer and managing general partner of the Southern Point Medical LLC building ownership group. |

HERITAGE DAY HEALTH CENTER
Heritage Day Health Centers has awarded Miles•McClellan the renovation of the former 16,500-square-foot Franks Nursery building on State Route 161 into their newest Columbus-area center. The new center will provide comprehensive adult day services Monday through Saturday for adults with cognitive and physical impairments. Services available at the new facility will include health monitoring, rehabilitation, nutrition services, personal care, therapeutic activities, and counseling.

HOCKING VALLEY COMMUNITY HOSPITAL
Hocking Valley Community Hospital in Logan, Ohio has awarded Miles•McClellan Construction the renovation contract for 29 rooms of its Med/Surgery and Extended Care/SNF facilities.
The 5,652-square-foot renovation will include upgrading the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems and updating finishes and fixtures. The renovated area will include medical surgery rooms and extended care patient rooms. The facility upgrades will be completed in October, 2007.
Emil Bogden of Bogden Architects, Inc. of Columbus, Ohio served as the project architect.
This is the ninth medical renovation or construction project Miles•McClellan has undertaken in the past year. Other medical services projects include Children’s Close to Home Whitehall and Morse Road, Mount Carmel Arlingate Phases I & II, Heritage Day Health Centers, Southern Point Medical Office Building, Grant Hospital Surgery Tower and the Mill Valley Medical Office Building.
Hocking Valley Community Hospital is a 103-bed acute care facility serving Hocking and surrounding counties. The JCAHO accredited hospital provides all phases of medical care including family practice, cardiovascular service, internal medicine, obstetrics, and occupational medicine with a staff of over 60 physicians. STARBUCKS AT PORT COLUMBUS AIRPORT
Concourse C at the Port Columbus Airport will have a new Starbucks Coffee Company as of June 1, 2007 when Miles•McClellan is scheduled to complete a 1,500-square-foot store. Starbucks is the leading retailer of specialty coffee in the world with more than 13,000 company-operated and licensed locations. WD Partners is the project architect.

BUCKEYE HALL OF FAME CAFÉ AT PORT COLUMBUS AIRPORT
Miles•McClellan is renovating a 2,135-square-foot restaurant space for the Buckeye Hall of Fame Café that will open in mid-July near the entrance to Concourse C at Port Columbus Airport. Daniel Cline & Associates, Inc. is the project architect.

RADIO ONE
Radio One hired Miles•McClellan as the Design/Builder on this 10,000 square foot renovation project in the Berry Boltworks building in Victorian Village. Working hand in hand with the owner and architect Miles•McClellan worked through construction issues created by an historic building that is not square. Miles•McClellan also maintained a vigorous project schedule and finalized the project within budget. Even though there were several obstacles Miles•McClellan was able complete the space in time for Radio One to have their radio stations up and running as scheduled without a missed day of air time. |

CHILDREN'S CLOSE TO HOME
To meet the growing needs of the Children's Hospital's Close to Home services, Miles•McClellan Construction was selected as the General Contractor on this facility located on Morse Road. The facility is an extremely colorful and kid-friendly environment that is equipped with examining rooms and a laboratory to treat the community's ill children during flexible and convenient hours. Miles•McClellan built this 5,000 square-foot facility on time and within budget parameters. |

MT. CARMEL ARLINGATE MEDICAL OFFICE SPACE
Miles•McClellan was hired by Mt. Carmel to renovate an existing office space into a physical therapy and drug testing/counseling/rehabilitation facility. Miles•McClellan completed the first phase of the project in 54 days. Mt. Carmel was so impressed that Miles•McClellan has been hired for Phase II of the project which involves the tenant fit-out into a sleep laboratory and medical office space. |

CAPITAL UNIVERSITY DORMITORY
Miles•McClellan was hired as the General Contractor for the new construction of the Capital University College Avenue Dormitory along with newly paved walkways, roadways, and landscaping. The dorm is a 3-story, 42,000-square-foot, 66 room, wood-frame brick building. WIth a single common living quarters, the double rooms are very spacious. Each room has a kitchen, every floor has a shared bathroom, and there is a laundry facility located in the basement. Miles•McClellan successfully completed this project on time and within budget. |
