As the commercial construction industry begins to rebound, Miles•McClellan Construction is preparing for upcoming projects by promoting one of its team members and hiring another.

Matt Recchiuti, who joined the company in 2004, has been promoted from project engineer to project manager. He was an integral part of the team that managed The Ohio State University Student Academic Services Building and Lane Avenue Parking garage — a $44 million project that was recently completed. Recchiuti holds a bachelor of science degree in construction management and architecture and holds the LEED AP designation. He lives in Hilliard with his wife, Allison.

In addition, Miles•McClellan recently hired DJ Hegarty as a senior project manager. With 15 years of experience in the construction industry, Hegarty chose to work for the company "because it is a quality contractor with an emphasis on client satisfaction." Hegarty worked closely with founder Terry McClellan on the Grange Insurance Audubon Center, a project he says "helped revitalize an entire community." Originally from Portsmouth, Hegarty, his wife and son live in Galena.

Miles•McClellan specializes in commercial construction management, general contracting, and design/build projects, with an emphasis on pre-construction planning. The company was founded in Columbus in 1978 by Terry McClellan and Lonnie Miles and also operates an office in Greensboro, North Carolina.
